What should I pack for a holiday in Athens in November?
Make sure you have comfortable shoes, especially when you visit the acropolis as there's a lot of uneven ground. Take light clothing for the day and layers in case it gets a bit windy. It's worth bringing a rain coat just in case.

As November is out of season Athens is much quieter than during the summer months making it much easier and nicer to explore. The weather is still warm and comfortable as it can get very hot during the summer.

What's the temperature like in Athens during November?
The temperature reaches around 19℃ during the daytime in November, falling away to 13℃ at night. The UV index will be moderate at this time of year, so not something to worry about for the average person. However, if you're going to be outside for long periods it's worth wearing a broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen and UV-blocking sunglasses. Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand increase UV exposure.
