No, this is not an early April fool and, yes, you did read that correctly...
Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is looking for eight people to join him on the first ever civilian trip around the moon! The billionaire bought all eight available seats for the week-long SpaceX journey - scheduled for 2023 - and is offering them to 'talented individuals' from across the world.
They're looking for entrants who can demonstrate personal growth and use their space experience for social good.
Entrants will find out if they've made it past the first stage by 21st March. This will be followed by interviews and missions before the most 'creative' winners are chosen at the end of May 2021.
