How hot is it in Sicily during July?
July is typically the hottest month in Sicily. The temperature hits about 34℃ during the day, falling away to a balmy 21℃ at night.The UV index will be very high at this time of year, so you'll need to protect your eyes and skin. Avoid sun exposure between 10am and 4pm where possible. If outdoors, find shade, wear sun-protective clothing, wear UV-blocking sunglasses and generously apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every hour or so. Don't be fooled by cloudy skies! Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand will increase UV exposure.
Does it rain in Sicily during July?
The answer is no. Sicily is typically bone dry in July. You're not likely to see a thunderstorm during your trip.

You're unlikely to experience any strong winds. Expect a light breeze that picks up slightly at times in July. With moderate humidity, any breeze will have a very welcome cooling effect.
