What's the weather like in Menorca in August?

My Tunbridge Wells Hot! But beautiful...If you aren't a fan of the heat then perhaps August should be avoided? However we love the heat and as my children get older, they are absolutely fine with it too. What I love most about going in August is that it is even warm in the evenings. I didn't need to wear a cardigan or anything additional to my many dresses! Answered by My Tunbridge Wells

What should I pack for a holiday in Menorca in August?

My Tunbridge Wells Make sure you pack lots of swimwear, casual daytime clothes and perhaps a few smart outfits for a night out. My son loves reading and we actually didn't bring enough books for him. He ran out of reading material after the first week (we were there for two) and we weren't able to get our hands on any suitable books (in English) for his age-group. Next time I will over compensate and bring too many books with me - just in case! Answered by My Tunbridge Wells

What's great about Menorca in August?

My Tunbridge Wells The buzz! Yes, it is most likely the busiest month but so long as you are prepared for that, then just embrace the buzz and enjoy your piece of paradise. Everywhere is open and the restaurants and bars tend to stay open a lot later in August. Answered by My Tunbridge Wells

7 unusual things to do in Menorca

1st March 2021 by Inside the Travel Lab

Gin, sin and the Xoriguer Distillery in Menorca

9th February 2021 by Inside the Travel Lab

Menorca threw several surprises my way when I visited. Wild flowers, for one, with fields flush with poppies, violets and periwinkles all dancing like hippies in the sun. Punta Prima is a small, family orientation resort in the south east of Menorca. Having just returned from a weeks visit to this small part of the Balearics Islands, I thought I would drop some knowledge on what’s good there, and how we enjoyed our days eat all of the food and taking in its lovely coastline. I should stress that this was no backpacking adventure, but a first foray into family package holidays for my gf and I, and our amazing 10 month old son. His time as a backpacker will...
