What's the weather like in Malta in June?

The Mamma Fairy Weather was mid 20s which was perfect for travelling with kids, we saw no rain at all which is typical of June weather. The evenings stayed warm too so we sat out and ate every evening in the lovely sun. Answered by The Mamma Fairy

What should I pack for a holiday in Malta in June?

The Mamma Fairy Pack a light jacket for evening and lots of sun cream. Even though mid 20's might not seem that high, our littlest got burnt. Sun glasses are an essential as the sun is remarkably bright with the clear skies. Also pack lots of swim wear, the kids were in and out of the pool so much cooling down. Answered by The Mamma Fairy

What's great about Malta in June?

The Mamma Fairy It was early June when we went and it was busy but not crazy busy. The one thing I really didn't want is to have to get up early for sun beds etc., but that didn't happen as it wasn't too busy but I suspect deeper into the tourist season that could be an issue. Don't miss Valletta, its stunning and lovely little food places to stop and soak in the views. Answered by The Mamma Fairy

Discovering Malta, with no smartphone or guidebook

14th November 2023 by Budget Traveller

We stumble down the sulphur-yellow dirt track, no sign of Claire’s secret beach. In the past 15 minutes we have been honoured with just the odd lonesome goat for company and the swallows, dancing above our heads. I take a slurp of my water. It is past midday but already the April sun feels strong on our skin. We reach a dead end. Force of nature implores me to look at my phone for answers. According to Google Maps, the track or beach does not exist. We are in no-mans lands. I look up again,...
