What should I pack for a holiday in Tenerife in July?
Definitely pack your sunglasses, plus plenty of sun cream and after sun. I would pack swim wear and bikinis for lounging around the pool or on the beach. And I would also pack skinny T-shirts, shorts and summer dresses for shopping or sightseeing. Finally, if you plan on visiting Teide (the mountain at the centre of the island) I would pack a cardigan, as it can get quite cool at that altitude. For the evenings, most bars and restaurants at the hotels I have stayed at have been quite casual, but men are often requested to wear trousers in hotels.

What's great about Tenerife in July?
I love the guaranteed weather and sunbathing. There is plenty to do, and some great shops in the major resorts. The summer is busy for tourists so there is great buzz and all the bars are open. I have visited off season and it is much quieter.
