What's great about Istanbul in September?

The Wandering Quinn It's not as hot as the main summer months of July & August and towards the end of the month you can feel Summer is on its way out with cooler temperatures. The skies are mostly blue every day which is pleasant to see, and you can still visit the beaches and islands in Istanbul in September to have beach days as well as being on a city break. How warm is it in Istanbul during September?

The temperature reaches around 25℃ during the daytime in September, falling away to 21℃ at night. The UV index will be moderate at this time of year, so not something to worry about for the average person. However, if you're going to be outside for long periods it's worth wearing a broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen and UV-blocking sunglasses. Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand increase UV exposure.
