This week's successes: 19th April 2026

It’s been quite a while since we included a winners’ update, but these are some the ones we've been notified about in that time...

Vivienne was delighted with her first ever travel comp win of a 5-night holiday to Saint Lucia. Her prize includes return flights and airport transfers, a stay at Bay Gardens Hotel with daily breakfast, and a Rhythm of Rum tour experience: “Lovely surprise as never won a trip before of any kind... Keep comping everyone - it CAN happen.”

Anne got lucky with a competition re-draw from Explore! Worldwide’s Micro Retirement comp that we featured in our Sunday emails at the end of last year: “…the first drawn person did not respond to the winner email so they redrew and TaDah I won. Just need to decide who, where, when and pack the bags!” Her prize is a £5,000 Explore! Travel voucher for one of their tours, along with flights, accommodation, transport and guides.

Sarah won JRNY’s 10-night holiday for 2 to Oregon that was in our Sunday emails last month. Her prize includes return flights, car hire and accommodation.

Lucy was another winner from last month’s Sunday email comps. She won the Vienna Tourist Board’s “Vienna is not dull” competition and will be enjoying a 2-night break to Vienna for two, including flights, hotel, entrance tickets for the Vienna Ball of Sciences, a city card and a goodie bag.

Elizabeth was delighted with a win: “Yay - I'm about to arrange a couple of nights in The Shepherd's Rest near Kirkcudbright because I've won a lovely wee package with meals, drinks and a sauna-by-the-sea thrown in! First win of the year and very welcome!”

Debi won a stay for her daughter: “A win but not really for me! I nominated my daughter... to win an overnight stay in a gorgeous hotel in Hampshire. She is thrilled to pieces.”

Olive has been extra-lucky recently: “…winning competitions must be a bit like buses - none for ages and then they all come together! Last month I won 7 days Eurocamp holiday (in Slovenia) and now I’ve won a two night stay at Rick Stein’s place in Padstow with breakfast, a dinner and bottle of champagne thrown in! …Just proves you must never give up!”

Elaine won a Valentines competition which included the View from the Shard experience, and a 4-course dinner with champagne at Marco Pierre White London Steakhouse Co.

Mary is another group member who has been super-lucky with more than one recent win: “Was lucky enough to win a VIP tour of Hamleys... [they] kindly rearranged with an afternoon tea bus tour.” Mary then won a British Airways competition for a Marriott Bonvoy hotel stay in London: “So excited... They have kindly agreed to let us have a room for 3 so it will make our trip extra special.”

And Di has won a £1,000 luxury stay at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa with Discover Rutland: “Perseverance pays off!”

Sarah: “Still pinching myself after this win. A week all inclusive in Jamaica, courtesy of Vita Coco... The prize included a training session with sprinter Zharnel Hughes... I've only been comping around 2 years and still can't believe I won this.”

Claire: “…after many years of not winning anything, I have just returned from three nights at the Zen Den in Boscastle, Cornwall... we were lucky enough to have the hottest day of the year so far. It just proves that you should never give up and you'll be lucky one day.”
