This week's successes: 4th February 2024

After a few weeks off, we have eight new winners and two prize updates to let you know about this week...

New winners

Kim got in touch to let us know that she'd won a 3 night stay on Easdale Island near Oban. “It’s the first competition I ever won! I'm so thrilled!”

Ang won a trip to Harrogate from a Hays Travel comp.

Dawn has won a 4-night honeymoon to Cyprus: “I have just finalised the dates of my first holiday... Thank you so much to everyone who takes time to post and support the Facebook competition group!”

Elizabeth got in touch to let us know that she'd won a weekend in Lauder, Scotland, courtesy of Unique Cottages.

Mary won a family break to Armathwaite Hotel and Spa in the Lake District with Aqua Pura and Cumbria Tourism: “Thanks again to this wonderful group!”

Our Facebook group members also took1st and 2nd place in the same Premier Travel competition. Elaine took 1st place, winning a £250 Premier Travel gift card and Anna came in 2nd place winning a £100 gift card.

Finally, Liz has won a holiday in Mexico: “…I’m off to Cancun!!!! I’ve had an email from the Avios Promotions team, telling me I’ve won… I ignored the one before Christmas as it looked a bit spammy, but they’ve emailed me again today…” Make sure you follow up on emails after doing some sensible checks!

Prizewinner updates

Karen has just returned from her prize-winning trip to Suffolk, where she stayed at the brand new boutique property 'The Gatehouse' in the grounds of Kesgrave Hall: “Thank you so so much for posting the competitions in this group. You truly are an amazing bunch! I've had four wins (and counting) since joining this group and I'm grateful to each and everyone of you. The photos don't do the place justice. It was just gorgeous! Brand spanking new. Worth £1000 a night. Luxury Elemis products, food was superb! Complimentary full English breakfast, welcome package, just fabulous. The perfect winter getaway to blow away the January blues. I’d highly recommend it... Good luck everyone and carry on comping!” 

Last but not least, Lucky Dan has updated us on his latest prize-winning escapade: “I love to post updates on a win because it shows that a prize is real and not everything out there is a scam. I had forgotten to post about this one that we enjoyed a month ago at Bethnal & Bec, a luxurious retreat in Hertfordshire. We had paid an add on to make our stay a babymoon celebration, which meant we had balloons, cakes and non-alcoholic prosecco. The retreat has an outdoor hot tub, pizza oven, cinema screen in the bedroom, record player and arcade machine. We were so relaxed there and I really recommend it as a place to visit."
