This week's successes: 30th July 2023

I love hearing from people who have won the competitions we feature on Travelscoop. It's been a bumper week, with six new winners to report and one runner-up...

Firstly, we held the draw for our own competition this week. The winner was Pallavi, who will be enjoying a night of luxury in a Deluxe City Room at the Shangri-La Hotel. As well as spectacular floor-to-ceiling views right from the bed, she'll be greeted by a bottle of Champagne on arrival, breakfast the following morning and full use of the gym and London's highest infinity pool. #luxlife.

Big congrats to Cathy who won a 3-night B&B stay for a family of 4 in Guernsey at the St Pierre Park Hotel as well as return ferry tickets and £100 worth of Muddy Puddles children’s clothing.

Jo won the Annie Haak competition that we featured in the Sunday comp email two weeks ago and will be receiving a £250 Airbnb gift card, Sunglass Hut voucher and jewellery and cosmetic products worth £1,000. Jo said, “I haven't won anything this year so this was amazing… I am so grateful.”

Carrie Lou won in KISS FMs Festival Fails. Her prize haul includes a Magnum Pleasure Pass for two people to access different events around the UK: KISSTORY London, 51st Festival, Dream Valley, We Are Fstvl, Sundown Festival, and £500 towards travel and accommodation. She said: “I was very nervous being on the radio… but it was well worth it!”

Lyn got in touch to let us know she’s a winner: “I have won with Radio Times … 2 premium theatre tickets to a West End show, and an overnight stay at the Waldorf Hilton with breakfast and evening meal.”

And finally this week, Pam and Marianne both had airport parking wins.

Marianne was a runner-up in London Luton Airport’s Instagram competition: “I won second prize of 2 weeks airport parking! My first win since joining the group! Now I just need to win the holiday to go with it.”

Someone who’s done just that is Pam… she was delighted to win 7 days’ parking at Heathrow, having already won a holiday to New York which is booked for January - flying from Heathrow. So Pam can now enjoy free parking as well! How jammy is that??
