What should I pack for a holiday to Faro in October?

The Mamma Fairy Layers for sure. During the day time, the usual sun holiday shorts t-shirts are good, but if you're sitting out in the evening you did need a jacket/ jumper. We didn't pack an umbrella or rain gear and didn't need it thankfully. Answered by The Mamma Fairy

What's great about Faro in October?

The Mamma Fairy It's the tail end of the tourist season so its a lot less crowded and easier to get restaurant bookings, do attractions etc. We went with young kids so between the ideal temps at early 20s and a lot less crowded it made it an ideal family destination. We found it really welcoming and kids were very welcomed wherever we went to eat out. The restaurant scene is really good so do try them out as tempting as it can be to go back to one you like! The region has so much more than the town itself, get out and visit and see some of the local villages and towns for an even more authentic Portuguese experience or even to find a quieter beach to wile away the hours. We adore Faro and its environs and have been back many times and I think this trend will continue for a while to come!! Answered by The Mamma Fairy
