What's the weather like in Milan during May?
The weather was hot - much hotter than I expected although looking back now I hadn't done my research thoroughly because if I had I would've expected it to be hot, hot, hot as it was a very hot weekend at home but I had packed jeans, t-shirts and trainers which were suitable for the football match I was seeing in Milan. I wished I'd packed some comfy sandals and shorts for a just in case moment as they were definitely needed.

Even if you're in Milan for the shopping you will want to make sure you have something comfy on your feet so you get the best out of your trip. The weather is warm / hot so pack a mix of light clothing that you can layer or take off if needed.

What's great about Milan in May?
Milan - the home of fashion and football is the perfect place to visit for those who want a mix of history, architecture, sport and high end fashion. I went to Milan for a football match at the San Siro Stadium. The whole experience was one I'll never forget. The people were friendly, the food was amazing and I just wished I'd had chance to stay longer than a weekend to be able to see more of the city and everything it has to offer. As a huge F1 fan I'd have loved to have visited Monza which is about an hour away by train.
