Cheap or free entry to hundreds of UK attractions

National Lottery Week is running between 9th and 17th March in 2024!

What's that, you say? Free lottery tickets? Not quite. It's an annual initiative that allows you cheap or free entry to hundreds of attractions that have been helped by National Lottery funding. The venues are spread across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland and range from stately homes, museums, theatres, zoos, gardens and more.

How to take part

To qualify for the offer you need to have purchased a lottery ticket or scratchcard and kept hold of it. So if you don't qualify yet, pop out and pick up a £1 scratchcard. Of course, you need to be over 18 to take part in the National Lottery. In most cases, you simply need to show your lottery ticket scratchcard at the ticket office. Check the National Lottery website for your chosen venue to make sure pre-booking isn't required.

Where can you visit?

A full list of attractions can be found on the National Lottery site here, and can be searched by location or postcode. The qualifying dates for each attraction can vary slightly. To give you an idea, here are some of our top picks:
