Expect heat in Lahore during May. The temperature hits about 43℃ during the day, falling away to a balmy 30℃ at night. Luckily, the atmosphere will be quite dry, with low humidity so any breeze will feel cooling. The UV index will be very high at this time of year, so you'll need to protect your eyes and skin. Avoid sun exposure between 10am and 4pm where possible. If outdoors, find shade, wear sun-protective clothing, wear UV-blocking sunglasses and generously apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every hour or so. Don't be fooled by cloudy skies! Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand will increase UV exposure.
