What do you think about Trump’s executive order on immigration? See the surprising results

How do you feel about President Trump’s temporary ban on immigration?

Describing the act as “heartless and discriminatory”, TripAdvisor’s CEO, Steve Kaufer, condemned President Donald Trump’s controversial executive order. He’s not the only one, as several CEO’s expressed concern, including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerburg and Starbuck’s Howard Schultz.

The temporary ban affects immigrants from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. Social media is also awash with open sympathy for those posting stories of being unable to return home to their families, pets and jobs, after holidays in the afore mentioned countries.

“We are against this executive order not just because we are a global business with a diverse workforce, but because we are human beings and citizens who respect and love the fabric of our nation,” Kaufer wrote.

It seems much of the U.S. agrees, with protests occurring, nationwide. Kaufer has stated that TripAdvisor committed $5 million over the next three years to aid the global refugee crisis.
