What should I pack for a holiday in Mallorca during May?

She Get's Around Definitely pack a swimsuit, it's the perfect weather to spend some time on the beach, without getting too hot. There's also lots of beautiful villas and hotels that will no doubt have a pool just waiting for you to jump in. Shorts and T-shirts or dresses in the day will be fine, but you might want a warm cardigan or light jacket for the evenings if you're walking out for dinner. What's great about Mallorca in May?

She Get's Around May is great as it's not the height of summer, so you will likely get more space to enjoy what the locals do without the crowds. The local market in the square in Pollença market is well worth a visit, on every Sunday morning you will find fresh food piled high amongst local crafts and clothes. How warm is it in Mallorca during May?

The temperature reaches around 22℃ during the daytime in May, falling away to 15℃ at night. The UV index will be high at this time of year, so protection against skin and eye damage is needed. Try to limit exposure between 10am and 4pm. Apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every few hours, even if it's cloudy, or more frequently after sweating or swimming, and wear UV-blocking sunglasses too, and bear in mind that bright surfaces, such as sand and water increase UV exposure.
