Could windowless planes bring down the cost of air travel?

Airfares are at an all time low, but further price reductions could be in store if windowless planes take off. Yep, you heard right - a plane without windows. The concept has been proposed by Emirates CEO Sir Tim Clark, who has recently introduced virtual windows for some first class passengers aboard the airline's new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Ryanair to halve check-in time for passengers without reserved seats

Not sure that Ryanair are going to win many new fans with this news...From Wednesday 13 June, the budget airline will be charging it's passengers a shocking £55-per-person fee to check in at the airport IF you haven't already checked in online before arriving. Flybe launches summer Cardiff to Venice route

Europe's largest independent regional airline, Flybe, will be offering the first direct flights between Cardiff and Venice for summer 2018. Starting on Saturday 21st April, they'll be transporting passengers twice-weekly - every Tuesday and Saturday - from the Welsh capital to the hugely popular Italian city. Norwegian launches new services to Chicago and Austin from Gatwick

It's been a soaring week for Norwegian Air. The third largest low-cost carrier in Europe has expanded their long haul destinations to include American cities Chicago and Austin, bringing their US destinations tally to 14.The London Gatwick to Chicago service began on Sunday 25th March and will be flying four times a week to Chicago O'Hare International: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
