Dominican family feeds me exotic fruits, village life in the Dominican Republic

Taking a day trip from Santo Domingo, I head north to the outskirts of Higuero, where I visit a rural village. I get fed an array of exotic fruits along with cacao, nuts and ice cream by a family, before heading onwards to learn about the chocolate-making process. I also stop in a Colmado and Comedor, soaking in the atmosphere of daily life in the Dominican Republic
