Top 5 shows to see in Las Vegas

1. Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil

Cirque has returned to its roots with its new and improved Zarkana performance that has been wooing audiences. This amazing show found only at the Aria incorporates a story about a magician named Zark who loses his magical powers when he loses the love of his life. Zarkana takes us down a dark path of both fantasy and reality that we can relate to in our own lives, even as talented performers dangle before our very eyes, Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil is a show the entire family can enjoy.

2. The Blue Man Group.

Do you like music? Do you enjoy seeing men dressed up in blue paint while drumming on PVC pipe? Then The Blue Man Group is the show you should see in Las Vegas. Since the late 80s, the blue man group has been tearing it up on stage. Of course, it was not until 2005 that they sprang up in Las Vegas entertaining audiences from all over the world. The group interacts with the audience regularly bringing them up on stage to take part in their show. The Blue Man Group does all of this without ever uttering a single word. The show is appropriate for all ages and tickets are reasonably priced. If you visit Las Vegas the Blue Man Group is a must-see show.

3. Absinthe

Absinthe is unique to the Las Vegas strip and is as raunchy as it is unexpected. The show is hosted by a comedian and his sidekick who take turns making puns about one another. Absinthe also includes death-defying stunts in a burlesque like atmosphere. The women are scantily clad, the stunts are amazing, and the jokes are hilarious. What else do you really need to know? Absinthe is a fantastically entertaining show that brings all the elements that you would expect from the wildest place on Earth. However, if you have small children you may want to leave them with a sitter as the show is aimed at adults with some racy jokes and themes.

4. Penn and Teller

Penn and Teller have been around Las Vegas for a good 25 years now and continue to make people laugh with fresh material. Their jokes are centred on Penn’s sarcastic quick wit and Tellers annoyed side-kick mannerisms. Of course, the entire show is built around the duos magic skills, which seem to still impress the audience. If you are looking for a clean show to watch and have 90 minutes to spare then you should consider the Penn and Teller Show.

5. David Copperfield

I know what you’re thinking, a world-famous magician in Las Vegas? No, that is ridiculous. But yes David Copperfield makes it on to our top five Las Vegas shows because it truly is a must-do while you are in Sin City. No trip to Vegas would be complete without seeing the mind-bending stunts and tricks that Mr. Copperfield offers up to audiences. His show is family friendly so kids get the green light.
