A weekend by Lake Maggiore... in Ascona Switzerland

A few hours train ride from Zurich lies Ascona, a beautiful town by Lake Maggiore. We found ourselves with free time when visiting Zurich and figured we might as well sneak over to Lake Maggiore for a weekend. Turns out, we'd timed it perfectly for a party by the lake (more specifically at our hotel - Hotel Eden Roc) so we got to take in this Swiss beauty with a really fun party thrown in for good measure.
