Staying at Four Seasons Fairways Quinta do Lago

The Algarve region of Portugal is somewhere that I’ve been lucky enough to visit dozens of times. I’ve visited loads with my family, I’ve been with friends and I’ve spent a lot of time there with Thomas too. I feel like it’s an area that has so much to offer visitors and

Last year my dad announced that he wanted to take a timeshare in The Algarve. He’d looked at loads of options and decided his favourite was Four Seasons Fairways in Quinta do Lago.

So, a couple of weeks ago it was time to enjoy our first week using my dad’s timeshare at Four Seasons Fairways. He chose a three bedroom, three bathroom hillside villa with a private pool.

All of the hillside villas have recently been refurbished and are stylish, spacious and extremely comfortable. They have everything you’d need for a relaxing holiday and plenty of space for everyone to chill out. There’s a BBQ in the outdoor space, a small private pool, space to eat and lounge outdoors and more.

We absolutely loved our week there. The grounds of the resort are perfectly manicured and maintained, with flowers and pretty srubbery everywhere.

One thing I loved was waking up to the sound of birds each morning. I know that makes me sound like *such* a grown up, but I don’t even care. It was so peaceful and I adored it.

Within the resort there’s a heated outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool, tennis courts, two restaurants, a stylish bar and more.

The two restaurants on site are both great, with Amara being a particular highlight. The service in both restaurants was fantastic, with a great choice of food and amazing quality in Amara. The food there was incredible and it’s been beautifully decorated. I already can’t wait to eat again there next year.

There are golf courses within touching distance of Four Seasons Fairways, one of the reasons my dad decided on this location for a timeshare. My dad, my brother Iain and Thomas are all keen golfers so it’s ideal for them.

There are also loads of towns and villages to visit within driving distance. There’s Faro, Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo, Albufeira and many, many more. So even if you’re not a golfer there’s plenty to do in and around the area.

All in all I’m beyond delighted my dad chose to get a timeshare there for all the family to use. I love travelling with my family and it gives us a great excuse to do that. It’ll be the ideal place for us to relax together, catch up, eat, drink, enjoy the sunshine and enjoy each others company.

I’m already counting down until my next visit!
