Kachura Lake Skardu - Upper & Lower Lake & Shangrila Resort Skardu

Our flight from Islamabad to Gilgit got cancelled on the day we were meant to fly and there was not another flight to Gilgit for 4 days, so we rebooked another flight but to Skardu for the next day. The views from the Pakistan Airlines flight from Islamabad to Skardu were incredible! Especially flying so close to Nagar Prabhat! On arrival at Skardu Airport, we got a taxi to Upper Kachura lake where we found a small hotel via boat along the lake! Later in the day we went for a walk around...
