This week's successes: 23rd July 2023
I love hearing from people who have won the competitions we feature on Travelscoop. It's been a good week, with four new winners to report and one prizewinner update...
New winners
Sally-Ann won a 2-night camping pitch for 6 people at Woodhouse Farm Eco Camping in Devon and was informed of her win by another one of our group members: “So this happened which is great and my second win in the last few months (first was a long weekend in a camper van, so a bit of a theme emerging..) so I will say the usual - keep hunting & keep entering - it does pay off… I wasn’t actually tagged in the winning announcement post, so there’s very little chance I would have seen it.”
Fleur was delighted with her first competition win, with travel company Cool Places. She’ll be enjoying a 3-night Cornwall getaway for two, split between The Old Coastguard - a small seaside hotel in Mousehole, and The Gurnard’s Head near St. Ives. What a fantastic win!
Bill offered encouragement after discovering he'd won first prize in a Smooth Radio competition, bagging himself a 2-night stay in Zurich including flights, hotel and travel pass. “…hope my win keeps up everyone's enthusiasm and I'm sure your wins are just around the corner.”
Donna won a holiday worth £2,000 from Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall: “I’m so delighted thank you. I’d kind of given up on winning a holiday.”
Prizewinner updates
It was great to see an update from Judith after she’d been on her prize-winning stay in York, which included a day at the races: “Just a few photos from my recent competition win in lovely York! We had a fab time and the apartment was excellent thanks to Welcome Lets. No winners at the races unfortunately.”
