Hua Hin is an idyllic beach destination located in the northern part of the Malay peninsula in the Gulf of Thailand, just 200km south of Bangkok. This tropical paradise is loved by Thai royalty and tourists alike, thanks to its stunning white beaches, high-end hotels and quaint seafood shacks. The climate is generally warm to hot all year round, although the dry season (December-April) is the most popular time to visit.Getting to Hua Hin is relatively easy, with various travel options available. Self-driving, taking the bus or coach, or catching the train from Bangkok to Singapore are all great options. You can also take a ferry or private sea taxi from Pattaya, though this will depend on sea conditions.
Whether you’re a golfer or water sports enthusiast, Hua Hin has something for everyone. There are plenty of golf courses to choose from, as well as kite surfing spots. With great infrastructure and plenty of entertainment, it’s no surprise that Hua Hin is one of Thailand’s most popular beach destinations.
